We're pleased to offer this limited edition of our Ka'u Honey Typica to you! 'Honey' is another word for a pulped natural processing method, where we strip the skins off of the coffee cherry but allow some of the sticky fruit residue to remain. We then dry the beans in thin layers, resulting in a sweet brew that earned us a 92-point score from Coffee Review in 2019.
"Crisply sweet, fruit- and spice-toned. Apricot, oak, baker’s chocolate, freesia, sandalwood in aroma and cup. Deeply sweet structure with a tart lift and lively acidity; satiny-smooth mouthfeel. The finish centers around crisp stone fruit and aromatic wood notes, with a hint of spicy flowers underneath."
